LIVOGROUP

One business, one piece of software — from the first order to the daily close

The register is free forever and runs without internet. Reservations, QR menu, delivery, kitchen display, inventory and rota work together instead of side by side.

Which kind of business?

The same software, configured differently — from a food truck to a restaurant inside a hotel.

Restaurant with tables

Tables and open tabs, order in rounds, fire courses to the kitchen, settle separately at the end.

Café & bakery

Quick sale via tiles, eat-in / take-away with the correct tax rate, receipt in seconds.

Bar & pub

Tabs at the counter, add rounds, drinks to the bar station, tips and cash-up.

Takeaway & food truck

Keeps working entirely without internet — the register needs no network and no account.

Delivery & pickup

Guests pre-order online, the register accepts, the driver gets a note with the amount due.

Restaurant inside a hotel

Consumption lands on the room bill — today via the hotel area, and directly at the register with the next register update.

A restaurant inside a hotel? Then we can do something nobody else can.

Available today: the hotel charges a menu item straight to the guest’s room bill with a single click — no slips of paper, no second till, no reconciliation at closing time. And the path at the register itself — the guest signs at the table, the receipt goes to the cloud as an open room charge and will read “NOT PAID” — is built and proven, and arrives on your register with the next register update.

This works today

Everything here is built and usable. Gastro is the only branch already in production use.

Register with tables, tabs and courses

A Windows program, free forever. Add rounds to a tab, split by item or by person, mixed payment methods, discount, tip, change calculator. A void is a counter-booking, never a deletion.

Keeps running without internet

All data lives on the register. If the network drops, you keep serving; once it returns, everything syncs by itself. Receipt numbers stay gap-free throughout.

Charge consumption to the room — for restaurants inside a hotel

Available today: hotel staff charge a menu item straight to the guest’s room bill — one click in the hotel area, no slips of paper, no reconciliation at closing time. The “charge to room” payment method on the register itself (the guest signs at the table, the receipt goes to the cloud as an open room charge) is built and proven and arrives on your register with the next register update.

Reservations with capacity check

Guests book through your own page. If a slot is full, they get an honest “fully booked” message instead of a promise you cannot keep. Confirmed guests get an email reminder, and you tick them off at the register.

Graphical table plan

Arrange tables freely — drag, round or square. Occupancy and tab total are visible at a glance.

QR menu and ordering at the table

Your menu as a scannable code — changes go live instantly, sold-out items disappear. Guests can order at the table themselves; the register takes the order onto the tab.

Pickup, delivery and self-order kiosk

You set ordering hours, minimum order value, delivery fee and delivery postcodes yourself. The driver gets a note with address, items and the amount to collect. At the kiosk, guests order themselves and get a pickup number.

Kitchen display on your Wi-Fi — no cloud

A tablet in the kitchen shows tickets live, split between kitchen and bar, grouped by course and colour-coded by age. It runs on your own network and needs no internet.

Inventory with recipe costing

Ingredients, recipes per dish, low-stock alerts and a complete inventory journal. The order proposal groups low ingredients per supplier and tops up in whole packs — printable. The owner dashboard derives your food-cost ratio from it.

Rota

Weekly grid, add shifts, plan open shifts, hours per person. Shifts across midnight are calculated correctly. Explicitly a plan — NOT time tracking: Livo does not record what was actually worked, and does not fulfil the statutory duty to record working hours.

Owner dashboard and receipt archive

Revenue, receipts, average receipt, tips, revenue per day and hour, top dishes, revenue per register. Plus every single receipt and every Z report from all registers, with CSV export for your accountant.

Cash-up, staff and training mode

X and Z reports with counting protocol and variance, PIN login per staff member, a tamper-proof audit trail, and a training mode with its own number range that never counts towards revenue.

About the TSE, plainly

For taxable sales, German law requires a certified technical security device. We do not have one. That is why every receipt says “NOT A TAX DOCUMENT”, and we nowhere claim the register is ready for the tax office. Everything else — ordering, tabs, cash-up, reporting — works fully and is free to use.

What is still missing — and why

What is listed here is not built. We would rather write down why than keep quiet about it.

TSE — the statutory security devicein progress

Missing. That is why every receipt is marked “NOT A TAX DOCUMENT”, and the register is not cleared for taxable production use. We do not build our own TSE — that is not permitted — we connect a certified provider. That is a contract and cost question, not a programming one.

Card payment via a terminalin progress

The register books the amount of a card payment today, but does not yet talk to a terminal. Which provider gets connected is a decision with the business — a contract hangs on it.

Statutory working-time recordingin progress

The rota plans, it does not record. A legally compliant record of hours actually worked is a separate topic with its own legal questions and is not built yet.

Managing stock in the cloudin progress

Inventory runs on the register today; the cloud reads recipes and derives food cost from them. A web interface for maintaining stock is still missing.

What it costs

The register is free forever: no trial period, no account needed, nothing stops working after 30 days. Livo Gastro — cloud, reservations, QR ordering, delivery, reporting — costs €15 per month.

Find the system for your trade.

Six industry packages from €8 a month, the register always included. Cancel monthly, no subscription trap, updates included.
