Tables, open tabs and courses

Set the number of tables in Settings → Business & receipt (0 = quick sale only). The "Tische" button shows the overview: free, or open with the running total.

Graphical table plan

Switch between "Liste" and "Plan" at the top of the table view (from 0.20.0; your choice is remembered). On the plan, tables are freely arrangeable: enable "Anordnen", then drag to move and tap to toggle the shape (square/round). Status colour and tab total sit right on the table; the layout is saved per register and "Zurücksetzen" restores the grid. Honestly: an operating surface, not a floor-plan editor with walls. Paired registers additionally show a 🕐 badge on tables with a reservation today that has not yet arrived (from 0.20.1).

Placing rounds

Tap a table, ring up items, "Runde legen" — the items sit on the tab and the kitchen gets its ticket. Important: an open tab is not yet a receipt and not yet revenue; the numbered receipt is created at checkout. Tabs survive a restart of the register.

Courses

When ringing up at a table, every line carries a course (G1–G3, button next to the line). The kitchen ticket groups by course — and "Gang rufen" (fire course) sends the kitchen a prominent signal to plate the next course.

Split payment

At checkout choose "by items" and tap what this person pays — the rest stays on the table. Items can also be removed from the tab before checkout (logged).
