Sell and redeem gift vouchers

The "Gutschein" button in the header sells vouchers (enter the amount, take cash or card). The code (GS-XXXX-XXXX) is printed on the receipt.

Honest tax treatment

Livo treats vouchers as multi-purpose vouchers: no VAT is shown at sale (a 0% line with a note) — tax arises only on redemption via the items actually paid for. The X/Z report shows voucher sales separately so your accountant sees the distinction immediately.

Redeeming

In the payment area choose "Mit Gutschein zahlen", enter the code (case and dashes don't matter), check, redeem. If the balance doesn't cover the whole receipt it becomes a partial payment — the rest is paid by cash or card. The remaining balance is printed on the receipt.

Voids and blocking

Voiding a redemption receipt returns the balance. A sale receipt can only be voided while the voucher is unused. Settings → Gutscheine lets you block a voucher (e.g. reported lost) — the remaining balance stays documented.
